Cheetos & Old Bay!

We went to happy hour at a small and odd local bar, and although they had a menu posted on the front door, they didn't serve food. This is mainly because they don't have a kitchen. But they did serve bowls of hors d'oeuvres, namely Cheetos and Old Bay.

It wasn't as bad as you'd expect.

I'm dying to know what this place is!

And I'm also totally curious about Cheetos + Old Bay. I just might have to pick up a little bag of Cheetos on my way home now...

It does sound od but they are tasty. Definite points for creativity.

I decided to try this out on Friday night when I was duckpin bowling at Patterson Lanes and drinking Natty Boh.

I poured the contents of a sample packet of Old Bay (not sure how many ounces in it...it was probably 2 tbls in there?) into a 9-ounce bag of crunchy Cheetos and then shook it up really good.

It was delicious. It's totally my new favorite snack.

This is one of the best free bar snacks in Baltimore. I talked to Jim Quigley about it (he's the owner) and he says he invented it. I get out a lot, and I haven't seen it anywhere else.
